The dollhouse’s empty rooms invite stories, yet imagination moves within the house’s given frame.
Its familiar associations – family, domesticity, expectation – linger.
The hairs on the roof are traces left by different people who contribute to the house, yet never alter its structure. A tension arises between the orderly grid of the brush bristles and the chaotic strands of hair.

Playing with a dollhouse can be an act of both escape and confrontation – a way to process reality by re-imagining it. The open façade suggests fragility, while the roof, with its needle-like bristles, carries something hostile or even violent.
