A piece of dog excrement, sealed in silicone, floats gently in water. The image, at once absurd and strangely serene, accompanies a spoken reflection on materiality, transcendence, and the human urge to preserve what resists preservation. The voice oscillates between the mundane and the metaphysical — from the unpleasant reality of waste to the ethereal abstraction of the sky, from the concreteness of life to the paradox of an imagined afterlife.
