Photographs of young people in a sunny garden are playfully digitally altered and animated. A surreal world emerges, in which the familiar tilts and new meanings arise.
The audio track features an ironic dialogue between a student and her professor, both voiced by the artist herself. Alternating between self-critique and institutional parody, the conversation explores questions of seriousness, taste, and the limits of artistic intention.
“Working Conversation: Fun in the Garden” plays with the tensions between naivety and staging, humor and authority – revealing how meaning shifts when one looks long enough.
